About Peak Walking Adventures
Peak Walking Adventures was founded in 2009 and acquired by the present owners, Richard Tower and Rachel Bolton in 2021. Rachel and Richard are both passionate about introducing people to the UK’s beautiful hills and moorlands. They specialise in helping clients to explore the Peak District and occasionally other mountainous areas such as The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Scotland and Wales. They also provide navigation training and other outdoor experiences.
Both Rachel and Richard are qualified mountain leaders and navigation trainers, with up to date outdoor first aid qualifications.
All guided walks offered are ideal for small groups of adults, couples and individuals. Rachel and Richard like to help their clients to learn about the countryside and the upland environment, by sharing local knowledge.

Looking after the natural environment and charitable support
Rachel and Richard are passionate about protecting the environment and helping to sustain local communities within the Peak District and other areas were they provide outdoor experiences. There are some amazing, but fragile landscapes, wildlife, and plant life that you can enjoy on their guided walks. We want people to be able to enjoy these for generations to come in the same way that we enjoy them today. More information can be found on the environmental and sustainability page.
We support a number of charities which help protect the environment or sustain the communities where we work.
