Fabulous walking locations

Based amongst the beautiful dales, moors and reservoirs of the Peak District, we walk in the most accessible upland area of the UK – easy to reach from London, the Midlands and North. We can also guide in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Wales and Scotland.

A wealth of experience

We are both fully qualified mountain leaders with full liability insurance. We are DBS checked and hold first aid and mental first aid certificates. Rachel is a qualified teacher and an Alexander Technique teacher with over 30 years’ experience working with children. Richard worked in overseas sail training for a tour operator supporting families and groups and has 20 years’ experience working in the retirement sector, working with corporates to enable older people enjoy a more active lifestyle. Our approach is friendly and considerate to your needs and aspirations, irrespective of age or ability.

Prices

Prices per guide are from:

£175 per day for Guided Walks
£200 – £225 per day for Challenge or Trek Training Walks (depending on length – we’ll discuss costs with you when you contact us)
£200 – £225 per day for Navigation ‘Discovery Days’

These prices are for guidance only – please note:

We normally guide a maximum of 8 – 10 people per guide, depending on party ability and location
For bespoke walks where significant administration is involved, we may need to charge extra but we will clarify this with you before you book
For walks outside the Peak District we may need to charge expenses for travel or special requests but will clarify this with you before you book

We run regular 6 – 10km guided walks on the moors above Eyam, and along Froggatt Edge. It’s a wellbeing walk with history, local stories, big landscapes and a café stop en route – ideal for our Adventure Yogi clients, as part of their Peak District Retreats…

Yipiyap Team Walk

The Yipiyap Team wanted a morning’s walk ahead of their afternoon business meeting – some walkers were new to the hills. We tailored a linear 8km well-being walk high above Hathersage, taking in wonderful views as we gradually descended to the valley, finishing for lunch at their meeting venue…
