Group Specific Walks

We really enjoy crafting walks that meet the very specific aspirations of a client. This may be a corporate group with transport logistics, timing and accommodation requirements.  Or an organisation, an individual or team with access needs.  Or a community group with a specific cultural interest or sensitivity.

Our focus is:

  • To listen to and understand your tour itinerary.
  • To design a walk and make suggestions for you to share and discuss.
  • To relate your requirements to logistics such as transport, accommodation and hospitality, making helpful recommendations.
  • To share, as requested, our knowledge of local history, culture, wildlife and landscape.
  • To seamlessly adapt to your participants wishes, delivering a friendly and professional client experience.

Client Experience - Bywater Properties

We were asked by Bywater Properties to design a hike that would accommodate their London colleagues, travelling up by train, for a team away day. The walk needed to be located near a train station with suitable accommodation, ensuring there was sufficient challenge for more experienced walkers, whilst providing refreshments stops and ‘escape routes’ back to base for those who might not walk so far.  Walking from Grindleford Station, adjacent to the Maynard Hotel in the Hope Valley, we created a bespoke challenge hike that took in a gorge, high escarpment edges, rocky tors and a riverside valley–with an optional tea room and facilities en route.

Client Viewpoint

It was indeed a fantastic hike, and with such welcoming and lovely hosts. Thank you so much. We all had a lovely time. We will be back.

Client Experience - Gulab Sorkh

An inspirational group of Afghan women, who had moved to Manchester, Sheffield and Nottingham, joined us on a guided walk and picnic at the Peak District’s Ladybower Reservoir.  They and their families were linked to the Afghan security services which worked closely with British forces and have now settled in the UK with the support of charity Gulab Sorkh.  We worked closely with the charity, creating appropriate safeguarding policies, risk assessments and translation services. This was to ensure our clients, who had experienced significant challenges, could feel safe, welcome and really enjoy their experience in the Peak District with us. After the walk we sent details of walk routes in their cities to provide local walking opportunities with their support groups.

Client Viewpoint

Thank you ever so much for organising such a lovely walk for us.
