The Peak Walking Adventures Team were delighted to receive The Peak District Environmental Quality Mark Award recently.

The Peak District-based guided walking company was amongst a number of local businesses honoured during  an awards ceremony at Chatsworth House.  The event was organised by the Environmental Quality Mark Community Interest Company, which runs the award scheme on behalf of the Peak District National Park Authority.

James Berresford, Deputy Chair of the Peak District National Park Authority said:  “The Environmental Quality Mark gives official recognition to businesses that are protecting the environment and playing their part in keeping the National Park such a special place”

Rachel Bolton from Peak Walking Adventures said:  “We’re thrilled to have been recognised for our work protecting the local and global environment, supporting the local economy, and investing in people and communities across the Peak District. 

“We’re really looking forward to working with the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark Team, to further support and protect the National Park and its communities.”
